College@Elm is partnering with the First Miami Student Credit Union on a free lecture series called "An Introduction to Financial Literacy." Each week, a FMSCU professional will give an hour-long presentation on a different financial topic and upon attendance of all five lectures, you will earn a certificate from the FMSCU in the basics of financial literacy.
This is a fantastic professional development opportunity and resume builder! All are welcome to attend. This is an excellent chance to learn more about financial literacy and be well-versed in managing your own finances.
Please indicate which lectures you will be attending. In order to receive the certificate, you must attend all five lectures. However, you do not have to attend all five if you do not want to pursue the certificate. There are a limited number of spots available, I suggest registering as early as possible.
All lectures will take place from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the third floor of the Fisher Innovation College@Elm, 20 S. Elm St., Oxford, Ohio 45056. There is a parking lot directly south of the building off of Walnut Street.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to Olivia Eglar (eglaroc@miamioh.edu) or Ellie Timmons (ellie.timmons@muccu.org) if you have any questions about the lecture series. We look forward to having you join us!
